I had a wonderful stay. the breakfast was hot and hearty, and my room was quite spacious, though I found fewer dining options nearby than expected. Definitely coming back!

This is an amazing b&b, and probably the best I ever stayed in!!! The location is great, 5 minutes walk to Cork City Centre, 2 minutes walk to University College Cork, 1 minutes walk to Fitzgerald Park... It is really convenient for anyone to visit Cork city. Greatp place! Receptionists and manager are very nice and helpfull, they alway give the best advices on my tour. And the traditional Irish breakfast taste great! And free WiFi!!! Overall, I was very impressed with this B&B.

Friendly owners, hearty breakfast.
Far from the centre of Cork; rooms are in need of renovation.

The room included a kettle with tea and coffee-making facilities. The shower delivered hot and powerful water.
The furnishings felt a bit outdated, and there were some areas in the bathroom that showed signs of wear, like a floor coming up and a window that didn't close properly. Breakfast options were limited and lacked any substantial variety, with some items seeming to be microwaved, which detracted from the overall meal experience.

The b&b had parking which was great. Location was good. Breakfast was good. The owner was helpful and gave use good direction for places we wnted to go.
The directions given were not very good, we had to stop and get help. A taxi driver actually had us follow him to the place. The room was small and the tv only had 3 channels. Seemed old.

Decent enough for one night but not somewhere I'd stay for longer periods. Friendly, helpful service but there was a socket hanging out of the wall in the room with exposed wires which didn't impress at all!! I might stay again but would likely look elsewhere in the future for somewhere a bit more reputable/up-market.

Welcoming and exceptionally nice staff and marvellous breakfast.
Good location in Cork, really close to a bus stop right in front as well as a Fitzgerald Park, which was a lovely place to sit and walk around in. Exceptionally comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and a work desk, tea and coffee making equipment, and TV in the room.

cozy, cozy, cozy
I loved the warm and inviting atmosphere of the guesthouse, especially the charming historical architecture with stained glass and rich carpeting. The breakfast was good, with fresh, homemade options with very nice local ingredients. Michael and Mora's personalized hospitality. They even accommodated my dietary restrictions with gluten-free options!
100% recommend 😍❤️

We paid in cash, but realized they charged our card anyway and we had to ask for a refund.

It's such a shame that redclyffe guesthouse didn't live up to my expectations. The room was exceedingly dark, and the lack of places to sit other than the bed is quite absurd. Oh, and the leaking sink? Good! Was hoping for an upgrade to make up for it, but I suppose that's too much to ask. I almost wrote a good review but just couldn't.
